In what is going to be one of the worst moves for Internet Service Providers, the FCC has basically cut the legs out from under companies like Earthlink who used to be able to get equal access to DSL circuits from the phone companies.
This change let Bells bar competing Internet service providers such as EarthLink Inc. from leasing the phone companies networks. [Bloomberg]
