Everyone is wondering how to make money in podcasting. Leo La Porte and the old Screen Savers bunch have found the answer. They started a weekly podcast called This Week in Technology. (TWIT) To keep the podcast ad-free they decided to set up a paypal button for subscribing. The podcast will always be free, but the $2 a month subscription gives you special website access (membership) and the feeling of support. In one week they sold 1000 subscriptions. That’s $2000 a month revenue to start with, not bad.
