How much PC power is it going to take to run Longhorn

Every indication early on was that people were going to need power horses to run the OS. But that may actually not be the case, but it still sounds like the OS will be a boon for the memory and dual processor market. I will probably early adopt one machine to play with the OS.

Obviously to get wide consumer pickup they are going to need to make it run in some legacy PC’s that have been around 2-3 years.

Being we are a ways out from it’s release I guess I can start saving my pennies for the upgrades I will need to make to old faithful here under the desk. Nothing like a engine change and some new tires. [Microsoft Watch]
