I have been working very closely with the team at Techpodcasts.com and we have been making a lot of progress lately. But we have run into several stumbling blocks that has us concerned.
1. Ipodder.org is supposed to be a open directory and such is not supposed to be biased and allow equal listings. The Techpodcasts.com site has a Mini Directory of Tech Podcasts. We have been trying for weeks to get it added to the Ipodder.org directory.
If you look at the listing the Association of Music Podcasting has their member sites listed. We at TechPodcasts.com want our members listed also but attempts to get our opml file added has went unanswered WHY?
So far as the ipodder.org directory goes what does it take to get our targeted directory added as the AMP people have. It is my feeling since the copyright notices have went on iPodder.org and the Adam’s enterprise is bannered across the top the ipodder.org directory is no longer as he puts it “Your Podcast Directory”
Why else have repeated request for listing been ignored. Are you having trouble getting listed in the directory we would like to here about it at geeknews@gmail.com
2. We also have been trying to get our directory added to iPodder Lemon and some of the other Podcatcher clients but again have ran against a stone wall. I realize we have a small directory but at least it is highly targeted, family, and kid safe. We have a number of well produced shows. We are adding 2-3 tech shows per week and have over 2 months backlog to get through applicants, but we are building with quality not quantity.
If we have to pay those of you that are building podcatchers to be included we will pay, donate, contribute whatever it takes just tell us what it takes.
