According to a press release on both Adobe and Macromedia’s websites a deal has been struck for $3.4 billion dollars. My questions are, “What’s going to happen to Dreamweaver? Will it turn into a GoLive? Will the Macromedia Suite just disappear? Will Adobe just grab Flash and kill the rest?

Together, the two companies will meet a wider set of customer needs and have a significantly greater opportunity to grow into new markets, particularly in the mobile and enterprise segments.
