25 Million Downloads of Firefox

It’s available in 28 languages, less then 4 months old, and already forced Microsoft to start development of a new MIE Browser a year earlier then planned. What is it? It’s Firefox web browser from the folks at Mozilla.org. In the link above, Mozilla announced today that Firefox has reached the milestone 25 million downloads.

“Twenty five million Firefox downloads is a significant achievement, and we see that number continuing to grow,” said Mitchell Baker, president of the Mozilla Foundation. “Firefox is being rapidly adopted by the mainstream, with this audience embracing Firefox as a more user-friendly web browsing solution.”
