I am sure the reviews and comparisons are going to continue for awhile but my initial observation follows what the author of the linked article has to say.

Case in point my daughter who is 14 has a weblog and she does lot’s of cute things on it that you would expect a 14 year old to do. I maintain it for her and keep a eye on the activity. When I asked her to take a look at MSN Spaces the thing that caught her eye was several of the features. She is already talking about it on her weblog. She has reserved a space with my permission so I wonder if MSN was targeting teenagers? [Blobservations]
