Second ISS Gyro Failed

NASA needs to kick someone in the Ass and get the heavy lifter back in service. The ISS has experienced another Gyro failure and if the station loose another then the Russian segment of the station will have to be used to keep the attitude of the ISS correct thru the use of propellant. Until the US can get the shuttle back in Action piece meal parts can be brought up by the russians but with only 2 permanent residents of the station outside EVA’s with no one remaining in the station has a higher risk factor.

A space walk will start to be planned to fix the unit within the next couple of months. They work the schedule so ridiculously rigid I wonder if the crew gets scheduled bathroom breaks. [SpaceToday] [HoustonChronicle]
