With Google announcing that Gmail is for real and that they will be offering one GIG of storage with each account I wonder how many people are going to abandon the offerings of other on-line e-mail service. I have a payed Hotmail account that I barely use and with having another 20 or pop3 e-mail accounts across 20 or so domain names I own I really have not needed to use the Hotmail account in a very long time.
We will see what the full feature set will be when they open the site up to the public. I am sure it will be like the California land rush as people will race to register e-mail account names. [Gmail] [evhead] [Cnet]
