Most of you that have “Dish” are aware that Dish has pulled the plug on BET, MTV, Nick at Night, Comedy Central etc. Dish customers will be getting a couple of dollars back on their subscription. I am sure Dish owners are pissed but I think at some point companies have to stand up to these media companies and flip them the bird. I personally have cable and would like to see my bill go down a few bucks a month deregulation never helped that’s for sure. I have kids that watch a couple of those channels so I think I would be pissed if my cable company pulled them also. I am sure this will be a short term issue as the two companies will have to figure out a solution. [Ars Technica]
