Google is definitely on track for trying to work a deal with publishers to allow there search engine to index released books. Amazon is doing this now with some limited success but if done correctly and Google teams with a digital e-book selling agent it would allow consumers to search non-fiction resources to see if a topic of interest is covered saving a trip to Border Books and then being able to buy a digital copy on-line.
