  1. I tried Skype on a dial up modem out of the US, to a dsl modem in Denmark. The transmission quality was very bad. I guess because of the dial up modem on one end. I’ll try again with a high speed on both ends. This just won’t work with dial up.

  2. i’m using skype from thailand to talk to friendsan family in the uk, hong kong and thailand. i’m on a crappy 56k dialup and it works very well. better than anything else i have tried. the delay is like a long distance phone call sometimes, but even this seems to improve the longer you stay on the call. at&t etc. are dead. :)
