Mars and it’s close pass you don’t wanna miss!

If you are in the city get in your car tonight or tomorrow and get to someplace where it is dark. Let the kids miss a day of school whatever it takes get your booties out to the countryside and watch as Mars makes it’s close pass.

Last night as I was on a commercial flight the pilot did a cool thing for about 2 minutes he shutoff the exterior strobe-lights had us all take a look out the window. I was pretty shocked. Mars was so bright that in the moonless sky there was actual illumination from the red planet. Totally cool and I will never forget it. The thought that Mars was bright enough to illuminate the water tells me this close encounter we are experiencing is something every human being on the planet needs to be able to observe. So get your booties to the countryside or find out where the astrology clubs are going to be and get the view of a lifetime. [Astronomy Picture of the Day]
