The goal of The Eric Eldred Act is “about restoring balance to copyright laws by expanding the public domain” Two house representatives have or will be today introducing legislation to help restore the Public Domain hopefully the bill will pick up some heavy hitter sponsors.
I am unsure how this one slipped over my radar net and am quite appalled that I missed the initial ground roots work on this.
