There has not been very much innovation for consumers in POTS lines lately. Sure you can pay your phone company a bunch of money for services you get free on your cell and you can dial-up when you are away from broadband but thats about it. When Is the phone company going to revolutionize our telephones. Seems there are some researchers that have some cool ideas but they like me are unsure if the slow to act phone companies will ever move forward. [Chicago Sun Times]
