Thanks to Slashdot for the following link. I can imagine that the recording industry is in panic mode with the news that Sony and Phillips are launching a recording technology that allows you to put 30 to 100 hours of music on a single disk.
This should come as no surprise. Personally I do not have the time to que up 30 hours worth of music but I am sure as this roles out people will be trading these disk like crazy. This makes it much easier for people to share mass quantities of music. [New Scientist]
