We all know the story the RIAA & MPAA want to control there media and stop people from stealing. On the other had those of us that are in the Fair Use camp want to be able to play and listen to music we purchase on any device we choose to listen to it on even if we have to convert the CD to MP3 format and upload it to our portable device.
There is a happy medium that the two parties will have to come to but it seems that congress is going to try again. But every-time congress gets involved the damn politicians listed largely to lobbyist and those who have supported them in there campaign’s. Some congressman listen to the general public and have tried to work with those groups that are looking out for Joe consumer.
But I hate to agree with an article I read today but congress needs to leave this all alone. The RIAA and MPAA will sooner or later have to face the facts that there business model has changed and they better not piss of the hand that feeds them. They walk a tight rope act every day trying to get the most bang for the buck but the sooner they figure out and adapt to technology the better.
