This has to be the the story of the week. The Register is running a story that implies that when the SQL Slammer Worm hit the net a few days ago that Microsoft’s own SQL servers had not been patched.
Can you believe it that the company that has millions of customers and servers around the world failed to patch there own servers. The patch has been on the street for 6 months. Goes to show you that Microsoft system admins are lazy too. [The Register]
