Many hardware components that we have in our homes and the cars we are driving have micro processors in them. Creeps me out a bit lets hope the code is more stable than what is currently running on our desktops.
Seems dish-washing machines are requiring a software re-load when they get hit by a power spike.. I would hate to have to run a UPS on a washing machine. Then there is a guy who is on his second BMW because of software issues. [Baseline]
