Most parents have had that gut sinking feeling when a small child becomes separated from the parent while you are either out in the community or the child has left the yard and god forbid kidnapped. Companies are starting to offer tracking devices that can be put on your child to quickly locate the child. I can imagine there are some limitations as some of these devices are going to need a clear view of the sky. [New York Times]
