A follow up to the story we reported on last month in which Business Week detailed a law that is on the books that allows you to pick and choose the channels you want. Instead of being forced to take a big inflated package.
Well Business Week has a follow up article and it appears that the majority of cable companies don’t give a damn and are saying pay up or get cut off. Some cable companies are utilizing reclassification tactics of certain channels to bypass the law.
This issue has the potential to blow up in the Cable Companies face and get already pissed off subscribers more mad. I for one wish my local cable company would add Tech TV and then I would not bitch. If consumers would complain more than there would be more pressure on the providers. [Business Week]
