The folks at GoTV Networks are making Video content in a magazine format for your mobile phone. You can checkout your favorite music, news, artist information.
Think of this service as having the Rolling Stone Magazine on your phone keeping you in touch with the music you love. Their is a monthly service fee that ranges in the $5.00 range per month.
Freedom Voice Systems has introduced a product called Newber which allows you to have a second phone number for your iPhone. What’s really cool is that you can redirect incoming calls to any phone dependent on where your location is using GPS technology.
You can also transfer a call from a land line to the iPhone or Blackberry with a touch of a button on the mobile phone or move the call to a land line. Amazing stuff thinking you can switch a call to another phone with a click of a button.
Sadly the folks at Apple have yet to approve there application in the App store. Of this writing they have been waiting over 140 days for the approval. It is a sad situation for a product that seems so useful and could add value to the iPhone.
muvee is probably the coolest services out there when it comes to video editing. The diversity in the muvee product line is simply amazing and is the first service I signed up for when I came home from CES.

With that this is one of the videos of the show you will not want to pass up. I walked away pretty stunned on what was possible and how easy it was to accomplish.
HughesNet keeps a lot for people in remote places connected to websites like this one. In fact without HughesNet many people would be restricted to dial up service.

Have you ever looked for a street address on one of the main map search engines and come up with address not found. It’s happened to me and if it has not happened to you it will.
The folks at Rand McNally have a great website, they are one of the top leaders in paper maps and they have moved all of that online. In the video you will see an example of how Rand McNally is setting themselves apart from the competition.
More streets then the other competitors and from a company that has been around for a very long time.
Shapeways is a great service that allows you to design a product in 3D and send that design to them and they will create it for you and ship it to your home.
If you want that special items to set off a dinner table you could design a special one of a kind napkin holder and for around $8.00 a piece the folks from Shapeways will take your design and build your custom napkin holder.
If your not a 3D artist they have a software application called the Shapeway Creator that lets anyone design complex objects that can be turned into a product. See the cool stuff that can be designed and made by watching the video.
OK. I don’t know if you noticed, or if you just moved from the MySpace to Facebook, but MySpace tried to do a “Friends you might know” section as well. It’s actually a great little application – you can find out which of your friends or acquaintances are on the social network. I found classmates, relatives and even someone I met like 10 years ago working on a contract job together.
So when I noticed MySpace had the application, I thought “Great! I’ll be able to find those friends I missed in no time.” WRONG!
This application is less than spectacular on MySpace. The first person I saw on the program, I thought – “Hey, I’m already friends with them”. But ya know, people do some strange things – maybe they deleted their profile and started over. OK. I click “Add as friend”.
The program loads a page – “You are already friends with this person”. I select another name. Same thing. Reload the page – no difference.
I decided to see how much real programming they did on this application. I finally found a person I could add, so I did. When I refreshed the apps’ page, that person was back up there. I ‘deleted’ the name from the list. It said – this person was removed.
Not really. I went back on the next day, that person was back in the list – AND they were my friend, now.
If MySpace puts a lackluster effort in making something like “Friends you might know” work, what type of effort are they putting in to protect your personal information? This is not the first problem that I’ve seen with MySpace, but it is the most blatent.
This thing shouldn’t be called “Friends you might know”. It should be called “Friends you already added to your profile and cannot delete them from this list no matter how hard you try. Now go answer ’25 things’ on Facebook.”
