Idiots that just don’t get the paid to blog Marqui Program

I am really thick skinned and can handle be called names. But it is obvious that competitors of Marqui are jealous of all the PR they have been getting, and are bringing out the flame throwers.

All of you have been informed by me on every post that I post about Marqui including that graphic at the right hand side of the page that I am a paid blogger. I have also stated very openly that I would give you all a honest assessment of the program and that I would say what I wanted to say. I have also told you that they were very up front and told us we could say what we wanted to say no matter what. This is even in the contract

Then why do some want to bring into the equation that the paid to blog program that Marqui is sponsoring is something other than it is. Obviously they think their is some conspiracy or another at work. Unlike the presidential election where it appears some bloggers hid the fact that they were getting paid to blog, all of bloggers on the Marqui paid to blog program have been very open and even extremely critical about the product.

I am here to report the facts as I see them and only the facts. If those in the business world cannot accept that blogging is making in-roads and kicking traditional PR houses asses, in the getting the word out on the Internet department, Then they are living in a 1970’s business model. Folks times have changed and companies better wake up to new business models.

If their are bloggers out their though that are being paid to promote a product and your not disclosing it, I say shame on you.

In conclusion this idiot David Carter needs to get a clue and do a little investigation before opening his trap. For those of you new here that have not listened to my Interview with the CEO of Marqui then you need to do so and you may have one of those moments that I call “wow”.

Notice: David Carter is either editing comments to his weblog or, it is to stupid and not allowing a full response. (how is that for a product review) His editing cut out 50% of what I said.

Dave Winer has the most amazing post!

Once you read the link I want you to think about who the heck he may be talking about. I can only conclude it is either Bill Gates or Steve Jobs. These are the only two people that it can be. I am speculating, being he has been on RSS/XML rant that it has something to do with that. If anyone finds what he has changed on one of his websites please point me at it. [Scripting News]

This Call May Be Monitored …: “Iphtashu Fitz writes “We’ve all heard it. The recorded message when you call technical support or your bank or credit card company: ‘This call may be monitored for quality assurance purposes.’ But has it ever occurred to you that people actually DO listen in? Approximately 2 percent of these calls are listened to either live or after the fact, and it may come as a surprise that Big Brother even listens to what you may say while you are on hold. The people who monitor these calls routinely hear arguments between spouses or parents and children, people yelling at pets, and all sorts of other domestic disputes.”
