GoDaddy Super Bowl Advertisements

While not everyone likes the GoDaddy Super Bowl advertisements, you have to admit this year, they really threw us a curve ball in announcing the latest GoDaddy.co girl. While I am sure they used some video editing to give the new GoDaddy girl the figure of a 21 year old . I really did find the angle of the ad as the work of a genius.

If you have not seen the new GoDaddy girl, I am not going to spoil it for you as you have to watch the ad yourself. Congrats to the GoDaddy team for making me laugh during the Super Bowl, very few ads this year did that.

Bob Parsons is the man in coming up with a marketing message that guarantees everyone knows who the leader is in domain registrations is.

GoDaddy has been a sponsor here at Geek News Central for the past 6 years, this website, domain and a host of other sites I own all sit on GoDaddy servers and services. Save some serious money at GoDaddy by using my wide assortment of Promo Codes when you renew or pick up a new product at GoDaddy.com. Here are a few that have been getting a lot of action lately.

GoDaddy Promo and Source Code Update

I wanted to give everyone a heads up. GoDaddy has made some changes to its shopping cart, (see below) where you would enter Promo and Source codes. I know that my audiences saves a ton of money every month using my GoDaddy promo codes so I wanted to make sure you were aware of the changes.

Also as a reminder the price of .com domains increased to $7.67 versus $7.49 this past July 1st due to an increase in the base price GoDaddy had to pay to ICANN for .com domains.

As a disclaimer of course GoDaddy is a sponsor here at GNC.  You can save a lot or money by using one of my Promo Codes so make sure that you check them out and when you get ready to checkout, make sure you use the one that will save you the most money.

Did you get your .mobi domains or do you care?

MobiI’ll be the first to admit I went and secured a number of .mobi domains today at $14.95 each! They are definitely not cheap.  I decided to only get those I felt I really needed.

Some of you may ask why would you buy .mobi domains? Well I will give you an example load godaddy.mobi in a mobile phone and tell me what you see.

Sometimes you need to separate the wheat from the chaff! By having a ,mobi domain smart site owners will be able to serve mobile devices content they can effectively use on a mobile device.

My bet is there are going to be a lot of plugins for blogs and podcasters that will be designed to help us have efficient content designed to displayed on mobile devices via the .mobi domains.
