DaKim is a fitness company, but a different kind of one. The company was designed around brain fitness for clients over the age of 50. The company wants to improve cognitive skills, memory and more for the aging generation.
Studies show that the brain does indeed act like a muscle in many ways, and exercising it can help fight off some of the losses experienced with aging. DaKim claims it can help to reduce the chances of dementia by up to 63 percent. At CES this year the company announced its new web-based subscription service, which will run $14.95 per month or $99.95 per year. The company’s software has been used by the military at places like Walter Reed hospital to help soldiers overcome brain trauma suffered in the current wars.
