I played with Google Fastflip this afternoon for about an hour primarily as an experiment to see how many relevant articles I could find for my podcast on a Sunday and was pretty amazed at the variety of articles that I found largely from sources that I do not normally use.
I think the folks at Google are on to something here. It was as they say very fast to flip through a dozed of so pages to find 20 or so articles that I wanted to review. You can bet that as I prepare to record my show on Monday evening that I will be accessing Google Fastflip and seeing what I can pull out of the hot trending news for the show.
While it is far from perfect I think they will refine the results and sooner than later we will have a new way to scan the headlines. Big Kudos to the team that thought this thing up.. Lets just hope that it does not go the way of the dinosaur as many of these Google Lab projects do.
