Windows Media Player team dont make the same mistake Apple did!

Microsoft Media Team I am imploring of you not to make the same mistake the Apple iTunes podcasting implementation team did by limiting the number of people in the podcast community that get to see your product and provide feedback we are big boys and can sign NDA’s!

When Apple refused to reach out to the community you can see what happened. Today their directory continues to be a travesty. Apple did not talk to the community to this day they continue to ignore the community and have refused to fix issues in their directory. Shows take forever to get listed if they ever are, and listeners are not happy with the interface and are migrating back to the stand alone podcatchers.

The podcast community knows your are working on the podcast functions within media player, and I am hopeful that you will allow some of us a early look to give you some input and not just the so called podcasting elite. With RSS integration being built so heavily into the next version of Windows, and Microsoft’s desire to make sure you get the implementation right, we want to be on board with you in the podcast implementation in Windows Media Player!
