Can you imagine if we all had that type of bandwidth readily available today. Well some technicians and scientist accomplished the above feat in a data transfer test from California to Amsterdam last Nov and set a world record in the process using Internet 2 technology. If this is what we have to look forward to I can’t wait. If this is even available in 10 years for widespread consumer use. Then those that are trying to control content better start looking for work, as they will not be able to control anything if people have access to that kind of data rates. [Wired]
